Description
:
1. Provide timely, accurate advice on all employee relations matters and attend employee meetings as appropriate. Including:DisciplineGrievanceAbsence PerformanceProbation managementRestructuresFamily friendly activities – maternity, paternity etc
2. Maintain up-to-date records of activity on all employee relations matters within own client group, including note taking.
3. Provide Head of HR and HR Business Partner with reports and dashboards, as needed.
4. Provide policy advice to client group, encouraging self-service approach.
5. Support HR Business Partner, as required, with:Pay and reward activities, including pay benchmarking and inputting into cyclical activities, such as salary review and bonusTalent and succession planningLocal employee engagement and retention activities, including employee forums and Union Joint Negotiation Committees, where these existOrganisation structure design Resource planningRecruitment approvals and queriesTalent and succession planningProject work
6. Work with the HR Shared Service team to ensure action items are processed in a timely manner and letters/contracts are correct.
7. Essential Requirements
8. Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above, or equivalent
9. CIPD Level 5 or above or working towards
10. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
11. Ability to manage multiple priorities
12. Ability to organise own work whilst remaining calm under the pressure of tight deadlines and changing priorities
13. Ability to interpret and analyse data
14. Ability to work flexibly, as part of a team and independently with limited supervision
15. High level of confidentiality and discretion
16. Good written and verbal communication skills
17. Able to represent Hitachi in a professional manner at all times
18. Ability to build effective relationships
19. Desirable
20. Experience in a manufacturing or engineering or other technical environment
21. Experience of Workday HR system
