Sports Coach Location: Stockton-on-Tees Salary: £90–£120 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time / Flexible A welcoming and supportive school in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join their team. This Sports Coach role is ideal for someone passionate about sport, physical education and supporting young people to achieve their full potential both inside and outside the classroom. The successful Sports Coach will work closely with teaching staff and pupils to promote physical activity, positive behaviour and engagement in education. As a Sports Coach , you will use sport as a tool to inspire, motivate and build confidence in young people while supporting their personal and educational development. Key Responsibilities of the Sports Coach: Delivering engaging sports and physical activity sessions. Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Promoting teamwork, resilience and positive behaviour. Encouraging pupil participation in sports and physical activities. Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs. Assisting with classroom activities where required. Building positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff. Helping to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment. The Ideal Sports Coach Will: Have experience working with children or young people. Have a background in sports coaching, physical education or a related field. Be energetic, enthusiastic and a positive role model. Have strong communication and behaviour management skills. Be confident working with pupils of varying abilities and needs.
