Head Housekeeper
Location: Alexandra House Residential Home, Poole, BH14 9EW
Pay rate: £12.35 - £12.75 per hour.
Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week (to include alternate weekends)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Housekeeper to join the team at Alexandra House - our beautiful residential care home in Parkstone, Poole.

What you will be doing:
* Leading a small dedicated team of Housekeepers - providing direction and support
* Ensuring that cleaning, laundry and domestic equipment is maintained - and in line with health & safety guidelines
* All minor faults & repairs to equipment are reported promptly
* Ensuring that show rooms for viewing are presented to a high standard
* Preparing schedules which identify and allocate responsibility for daily, weekly & monthly cleaning tasks
* Ordering stock of cleaning products & PPE including ensuring allFirst Aid boxes are appropriately stocked and sited in accessible areas
* Ensuring our home is kept clean, safe and comfortable throughout for all our residents
* Responsible for our laundry area of the home
* Supporting with the cleaning of communal areas, office space and residents own rooms/bathrooms
Who are we looking for:
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
A real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.
Happy to LEAD THE TEAM and also join in as part of a larger Housekeeping team.
