Research & Development Engineer– East Yorkshire – Contract (6-12 months)
About the Company:
We are looking for an engineer with experience in product development and physical product testing from either the medical device or the consumer products industry to work on a maternity cover contract. This is a fully site-based role.
Responsibilities:
* Managing and carrying out technical investigations and lab tests.
* Designing and conducting lab tests for prototypes.
* Design Control.
* Writing protocols, recording data and compiling reports.
* Assisting with sourcing materials.
Requirements:
* Degree in Science or Engineering.
* Experience working in product development from the medical device or consumer products industry (personal care, home care, incontinence, ostomy, hygiene, tissues/ paper)
* Experience developing and carrying out physical tests.
* Ability to work onsite full time.
