Are you ready to take the next step in your planning career with one of Cardiff’s leading consultancies? We’re working with a respected planning and development firm who are looking to grow their team with an enthusiastic and motivated Town Planner.
As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, you’ll work on a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments – from concept to delivery. You’ll be joining a supportive team that values creativity, professional growth, and work-life balance.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and policy representations
2. Conducting site appraisals and contributing to design and feasibility work
3. Liaising with local authorities, developers, and key stakeholders
4. Supporting senior planners and directors on complex development projects
5. Contributing to business development and client relationships
What we’re looking for:
6. A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
7. MRTPI qualification (or working towards it)
8. Excellent communication and report-writing skills
9. A proactive attitude and keen eye for detail
10. Experience working within a consultancy or local authority planning team
