The role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, responsibilities include:
Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support across seven production lines
Electrical fault finding, component replacement and reading technical drawings
Mechanical maintenance including bearings, shafts, hydraulics and pneumatics
PLC fault interrogation (Siemens) checking inputs and outputs
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the factory
What they’re looking for
To succeed as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will need:
Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical discipline
Experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
Strong fault-finding capability with electrical competency
Confidence working independently and as part of a team
A proactive attitude with aspirations to develop
