Electrical Project Engineer - Solar PV
You will ideally be based in Hull, Brigg, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, York or surrounding areas
The majority of the work is in North East/North/East of England - travel required
£40,000 - £50,000 + Company Van + Discretionary Bonus + Training + Benefits

This well-established company are building a reputable name within the renewable energy sector, specialising in the design, construction and operations of commercial and industrial solar PV, EV and battery storage projects across the UK. With ambitious plans to scale up and expand into larger, more exciting ventures, they are now seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their passionate team to fuel future success.
In this role, the Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and successful delivery of C&I renewable projects. This will include managing multiple projects concurrently, with involvement in pre-start processes, CDM plans, delivery and management on site, commissioning, reporting on progress and being the point of contact for clients throughout.
This role would suit an electrical engineering progressional with a strong background working on commercial and / or industrial projects, and some supervisory experience. You should be electrically qualified, hold SSSTS / SMSTS or equivalent, and a full UK driving license. Previous experience working on Solar, EV or Battery Storage systems is desirable, but not essential as training can be provided.

The Role:
* Manage the delivery of commercial and industrial Solar PV, EV and Battery systems from enquiry through to completion
* Handling multiple projects concurrently (around 3 at a time)
* Act as the go-to contact throughout projects, maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and the installation team
* Majority of work is in the North East / North and East of England and North - some will be further afield however this is quite rare
The Person:
* Experienced Electrical Engineer
* Proven background working within commercial and / or industrial environments
* Relevant Electrical qualifications as well as SSSTS / SMSTS or equivalent
* Flexible to travel across the UK
