Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Credit Control Administrator for our client based in South Lanarkshire.
Role Overview:
This position offers a great opportunity to join a busy finance team in a vital role supporting the company’s credit control and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and maintaining the sales ledger.
* Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email.
* Allocating customer payments and reconciling accounts.
* Liaising with customers and internal departments to resolve payment queries.
* Producing monthly statements and debtor reports.
* Assisting with month-end processes and general administration support within the finance department.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a credit control or finance administration role.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Experience with accounting software is advantageous.

* Competitive salary dependent on experience.
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, full-time (8am-4pm / 8.30am - 4.30pm / 9am - 5pm)
* Hybrid working 3 days office / 2 days home
