Stannahs Dedicated Homelift Business have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Supervisor to join the Warehouse Department based in Andover.
This role will involve overseeing daily operations within the material control and warehousing functions, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient logistics processes, and smooth material flow to meet operational and customer requirements.
As the Logistics Supervisor, you will work full-time Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45, Friday 08:00 to 13:00. This position is offered on a permanent contract.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced logistics or warehousing professional looking to step into a leadership role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
To be successful as the Logistics Supervisor, it is essential that you have previous experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory/material control, or supply chain management.
Experience with ERP/WMS systems and logistics documentation would be highly desirable.
Logistics Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Oversee material control and warehousing operations, including receiving, storage, and issuing of materials.
* Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and ERP system updates.
* Supervise shipping, receiving, and transport coordination to achieve on-time delivery.
* Lead and develop a team of logistics and warehouse staff, ensuring performance and compliance.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and safety.
Logistics Supervisor Requirements:
* Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or material control within a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
* Strong working knowledge of ERP or WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics).
* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with logistics documentation and compliance (shipping, customs, and inventory records).
