We have been instructued by a specialist Insurance Intermediary to join their business on a twelve-month basis with a flexible hybrid working pattern offered to employees with an extremely competitive benefits package. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day Finance activities in what is a stand-alone position in nature with no direct reports.
Main Responsibilities:
– Produce monthly management accounts with full ownership of the general ledger and the month-end close process.
– Production of financial statements and non-financial KPI pack for Senior Management and quarterly Board meetings.
– Submission of quarterly VAT and FCA (RMAR) returns.
– Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
– Assist with year-end Audit.
Candidate Profile:
– Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in the Insurance sector (Broker, MGA or Carrier).
– Strong experience in preparing Management Accounts.
– Systems (Proficient in MS Excel). Desirable would be experience of Acturis.
