The Role
This newly created position involves both fee-earning and team leadership responsibilities. You will oversee a varied caseload of residential property matters while guiding and mentoring others. The role offers the chance to influence operational improvements, drive compliance standards, and enhance client experience across the board.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a broad caseload including freehold and leasehold transactions, new builds, and shared ownership schemes.
* Provide technical support and guidance on complex conveyancing matters.
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and client-centric service.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to support departmental performance and strategic growth.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with substantial experience in residential property law.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
* A collaborative approach to leadership and client engagement.
Technical Expertise
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of:
* Residential conveyancing procedures
* Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT)
* Land Registry processes
* Lender requirements and panel compliance
