Windows 11 Deployment Engineer
Location: Chertsey, on-site full time.
Duration: 3 months initially
Rate: £170-£180, inside IR35
We are looking for a Deployment Engineer to support a Windows 11 upgrade project. Working alongside the in-house IT team, you will focus on building and upgrading laptops, desktops and hard‑drives from a dedicated build station, preparing them for end‑user upgrade and then deploying across sites. We're looking for a proactive and motivated engineer!
Key Responsibilities
* Build and upgrade laptops and desktops to Windows 11.
* Carry out device imaging and configuration following set processes.
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during build/upgrade.
* Ensure all devices are ready for smooth hand‑over to technicians/end users.
* Keep accurate records of builds and completed deployments.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience in desktop builds, deployments, or upgrades (Windows 10/11).
* Familiarity with imaging tools such as SCCM, Intune, or similar.
* Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and drivers.
* Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and OS builds.
* Ability to follow technical instructions and processes accurately.
