ADMINISTRATOR/RECEPTIONIST

Location: Goole

Salary: £13.27/hr (equivalent to £27,600/annum)

Type of role: contract (ongoing)

About Company

Our client is a prominent railway infrastructure company committed to excellence in the rail industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organised, and customer-focused Warehouse Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. This essential role combines warehouse administration responsibilities with front-of-house reception duties. You will ensure accurate accounting of all materials received (inbound and outbound), provide administrative and customer support, and act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Front-of-House Duties

1. Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and suppliers entering the facility.
2. Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy, professional, and welcoming.
3. Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
4. Manage visitor sign-in procedures, issue visitor passes, and ensure adherence to site security protocols.
5. Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare rooms as required.
6. Handle incoming and outgoing post, parcels, and courier arrangements.
