We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, committed, and inspirational leader to the role of Deputy Headteacher (Inclusion) at Preston Park, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
Whole-School Leadership
* Support the Head of School in the day‑to‑day leadership and management of the school
* Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the School Improvement Plan
* Lead on raising standards in teaching, learning, and assessment across a primary curriculum
* Use data strategically to monitor progress and drive improvement for all pupils
* Line manage staff and contribute to performance management and professional development
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and aspirational school culture rooted in high expectations
* Deputise for the Head of School when required
Inclusion Leadership
* Lead and develop the whole‑school inclusion strategy in line with the school’s vision and values
* Oversee SEND provision, ensuring full statutory compliance and best practice
* Champion high‑quality adaptive teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Monitor and evaluate the progress and attainment of vulnerable groups, including disadvantaged pupils
* Lead on behaviour systems and targeted pastoral interventions
* Work closely with families, external agencies, and multi‑professional teams to secure the best outcomes for pupils
* Ensure safeguarding is fully embedded within inclusive practice and daily school life
The Person
We are looking for a leader who:
* Has a proven track record of improving outcomes for pupils, particularly vulnerable groups in a primary setting
* Has strong leadership experience in inclusion, SEND, or pastoral leadership
* Is passionate about equity, early intervention, and removing barriers to learning
* Has the ability to inspire, develop, and support staff to deliver exceptional inclusive practice
* Leads with integrity, compassion, and consistently high expectations
* Holds the NASENCO qualification
