Are you a numbers enthusiast with an eye for detail and a passion for finance? We’re on the hunt for a proactive and organised Assistant Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team!
What you’ll be doing?
* Capex Register Management: Maintain and update the Capex register, track expenditures, ensure proper asset capitalization, and reconcile balances with the general ledger.
* Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing financial reports, ensuring accuracy in statements, and conducting variance analysis.
* Month‑End & Year‑End Closing: Support closing processes with a focus on capital items, manage reconciliations, and assist with audits.
* Compliance & Regulatory Reporting: Ensure adherence to internal policies, tax laws, and accounting standards while preparing regulatory data; support audit processes by addressing auditor queries and providing required documentation.
* General Administrative Support: Maintain organized financial records and provide administrative assistance to the finance team.
What can you bring?
* ACCA/ACA part‑qualified with 2+ years of financial experience (preferably in a similar industry).
* Proficient in SAP and Excel (Pivot, VLookups, data manipulation).
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, capex management, and asset tracking.
* Detail‑oriented with analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team with effective communication skills.
* Knowledge of statutory financial statements, tax regulations, and compliance is a plus.
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
