Join our Quality & Business Excellence team as a Business Improvement Lead, where your expertise will be pivotal in executing strategic business improvement initiatives within the Small Gas Turbines division. Imagine translating high-level strategic goals into actionable projects that enhance quality, reduce costs, and boost operational efficiency. You will lead large-scale improvement projects, applying your expert-level Lean Six Sigma methodologies to tackle complex business challenges. Your role will involve rigorous process analysis, project leadership, and stakeholder management, ensuring that every project aligns with our organization’s strategic objectives. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. You will lead the execution of strategic business improvement projects, transforming high-level goals into tangible, cross-functional initiatives.
2. Manage the full lifecycle of large-scale projects using DMAIC and other Lean methodologies, ensuring timely delivery within scope to meet strategic targets.
3. Develop and present compelling business cases, project charters, and progress reports to senior leadership, linking project outcomes directly to strategic objectives.
4. Conduct deep-dive analysis of existing business processes using techniques like process mapping and statistical analysis to identify areas for improvement.
5. Coach and mentor Green Belts and team members on continuous improvement principles, fostering a culture of excellence across the organization.
What You Bring
6. You are a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a proven track record of executing complex projects autonomously.
7. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, complemented by extensive experience in business process improvement.
8. You have demonstrated experience in managing large, complex projects with limited oversight and coaching others in project execution.
9. Your skills include advanced root cause analysis, process mapping, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to sustain improvements.
10. You possess strong project management and stakeholder management abilities, with excellent analytical and technical skills.
