Job Description: AA Euro Healthcare has partnered with a leading organization to hire qualified and experienced Support Workers (relief) in Newry.
Requirements:
A Qualification in Social Care or a related discipline and/or
A minimum of 2 years’ employment experience in a similar role (e.g., Day Services; Domiciliary Care; Residential Care; Learning Disability; Autism)
Experience supporting individuals who present with challenging behaviour
Knowledge of adults/children with complex needs
Full clean B driving license
Must be eligible to work in Northern Ireland
NISCC registration required
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with activities and care for children/adults as assigned by management and indicated in the person’s Integrated Care Plan
Report changes in the child/adult’s condition/behaviour to the Manager
Develop social interaction skills for children/adults both individually and in groups
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with GDPR
Undertake any other work within the scope of a Health Care Assistant to meet service requirements
The above list is not exhaustive; additional responsibilities may be added over time. Flexibility to cover other staff roles is required.
