We’re passionate about driving innovation and redefining the future of delivery.Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and hands on Senior Central Operations Manager to take on the day to day management of our Central Operations Team.This person will be organised, proactive and data led. They will have strong experience in managing operational teams in fast paced environments and will be able to bring order to chaos. You will be able to support your team to ensure you develop them into the best team possible. You will be able to see patterns across days and be able to take this analysis to enact constant improvement by suggesting and implementing new and updated processes.Responsibilities Lead, inspire, and develop a central operations team across two shifts, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and growth. Develop associates into supervisory roles, shaping future leadership within the team.Set and maintain the highest standards of central operations, ensuring every interaction reflects our brand values and exceeds customer expectations.Act as the primary point of contact for high-level escalations, ensuring swift resolution and the best resolution.Oversee budgeting and cost-saving initiatives to ensure that we hit collections and stops per route budgetsBe available, adaptable and hands-on, stepping in where needed to solve live operational challenges.What We're Looking For3+ years of experience in a similar role (preferably logistics, transport, or fulfilment).Strong people management skills, with experience in leading teams and driver engagement.Hands-on problem solver, comfortable working in a fast-paced, live operations environment.Analytical approach and ability to use data to drive decisions to build a highly efficient networkExcellent planning and execution abilities, balancing day-to-day operations with long-term strategy.Commercial mindset with a focus on cost control and operational efficiency.An ability to seamlessly transition between day-to-day tasks and long-term roadmap activities.Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other operational planning tools.Strong data-driven decision-making skills, with experience analysing support metrics and driving process improvements based on insights.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.How we reward our team Dynamic working environment with a diverse and driven teamHuge opportunity for learning in a high growth environment, with progression opportunities based on success in the role25 days of holiday allowance plus public holidaysSubsidised Private Medical Insurance including dental and visionWeekly team lunch and regular company socialsMacBook Air or Windows Laptop (depending on your preference)Hybrid working set-up with in-person time expected at both our Shoreditch office and North Woolwich based depotEnhanced maternity/paternity/adoption policyCycle to work schemeDog friendly office
