About the role

Working for our subsidiary company Sparks Teaching Services, as a Student Support Fund Administrator you will be part of a small busy team. This is an interesting a varied role with a friendly team covering a range of admin processes as well as contact with students, parents and staff across the college to answer queries.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Student Support Fund Team Leader this post will contribute to the college's common goals. Working with the Student Support Fund team helping students from lower-income backgrounds to maximise attendance and successfully complete their course.

To achieve this, specific duties include, but are not limited to:

* Support the Student Support Fund team throughout all operational aspects, ensuring an outstandings service is delivered.

* Work collaboratively with all academic and professional service teams to achieve Student Support Fund KPI targets and contribute to college outcomes.

* Supporting and driving the development of the Student Support Fund to all students, ensuring that it is inclusive and informative to enable students to access the right financial support available to them.

Day-to-day, you will:

* Processing and dealing with enquiries and applications

* Initial assessment of Student Support Fund applications

* Completing award monitoring checks e.g. Attendance checks

* Ordering equipment and resources for students

* Processing invoices

* Answer queries from students, parents and staff face to face as well as via email and phone.
