A fantastic Specialist Primary School in Witney are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with a small class of SEN pupils aged 5 to 11, who may have autism, ADHD, down syndrome, learning difficulties, communication challenges or physical disabilities.
Responsibilities
* Provide both one-to-one and group support under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Track the progress made by each child, assist them in achieving new milestones, and support their behaviour management.
* Help nurture their life skills, offer social and emotional support, and create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
Qualifications
* Prior experience working with individuals with additional needs is beneficial, but what matters most is your compassionate, understanding nature and readiness to take on a new challenge.
* The school are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant with a kind nature and passion for additional needs.
