Responsibilities
* Collating information from different people/sources.
* Processing tronc onto payroll software.
* Running reports from payroll system.
* Converting Excel/CSV into correct format for upload.
* Uploading data into payroll software and subsequent reconciliation.
* Processing absences on payroll software.
* Processing team expenses through payroll software.
* Responding to team enquiries.
* Checking right-to-work details.
* Support the Payroll Manager with any ad‑hoc duties.
Qualifications
* Proven experience processing payroll.
* Good knowledge of statutory payments.
* Proficient in Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
* Good communication and client‑service skills.
* Office based in Chester – must be able to drive due to location.
