Our client is a well respected Main Contractor that operates in the commercial refurbishment and fit out space across the UK. The company currently has a requirement for an experienced Construction Manager with a proven track record in office refurbishment and fit out. Project values will range from £500K - £5m in value. Due to getting sign off on a new scheme, the company requires a Construction Manager to join the team on a 4 month contract. Roles & Responsibilities: - Programme monitoring and change management - Subcontractor management and co-ordination - HSE Management and RAMS management - Logistics coordination and waste management - Quality Control, health & safety and commercial management - Client and Consultant liaison - Design input - Solving technical issues on site - Hitting project deadlines - Driving project, leading from the front - Producing project reports and keeping on top of weekly administration tasks Experience required: - Minimum 10 years Management Experience - Extensive commercial refurbishment and fit out experience. - Experience of running projects as a Number 1 Construction Manager on site - Degree educated OR time served Tradesperson - SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS - Strong leadership skills - can do, will do attitude.
