Admin support - Integrated School Nursing and Immunisation Team
To provide clerical support totheIntegratedSchool NursingandImmunisationTeams within ABHUB.This will includeworking Gwent wide across both servicesas and when required.To contribute to delivering a preventative service for children and their families, byassistingtheIntegratedSchoolNursingand ImmunisationTeams with clerical duties.Ensuring efficient processes aremaintainedand adhered to, supportingteams to achieve equity of health outcomes.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Integrated School Nursingand ImmunisationTeams, you will be required to work in a variety ofoffice andcommunity settings to provide assigned clericaltasksthatwillinvolvedirect contact with school age children under the direction of thePublic Health Nurse Manager, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) and other qualified staff.
Communication will involve a range of client groups and professionals, for exampleeducation and child health. The post holder will be required to use Office 365, various client relationship management tools and other NHS systems. The role will involve collation of statistical information, therefore attention to detail and accuracy is key.
The post holder is employed within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and there is a requirement to work flexibly across Gwent to meet service demands.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Experience, Skills & Attributes
* Ability to plan and organise workload
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous Clerical experience.
* Experience of working in an NHS organisation.
* Ability to communicate effectively to engage with children and young people
Qualification and knowledge
* Knowledge and training to Vocational Level 2 or equivalent demonstrable experience.
* Excellent IT Skills and knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including working knowledge of databases and spreadsheets
* Previous experience of working with children and/or community working
* Previous experience in similar duties.
