Your impact
As part of a £Billion Infrastructure investment programme, you will take a leadership role supporting the strategic development of our Design and Build capability footprint delivering a portfolio of multiple £million high profile projects.
This exiting role offers a unique blend of strategic oversight and hands-on collaboration. You will report to our Senior Leadership Team and be accountable for the Design team's successful delivery, whilst also supporting uk and european teams across all technical disciplines to meet project objectives, delivering transformative solutions.
Your remit will include;
* Lead engineering excellence, act as Technical and Engineering Authority across design, construction, commissioning and handover phases
* Foster a committed governance and quality based approach to embedding constructability, safety, performance and reliability into design solutions
* Foster strong and trusting relationships across diverse design, construction, project and client teams
* Promote knowledge sharing, innovation and agility that adds value and exceeds our own and our clients' expectations
* Lead the success of innovation, technical standards, and integration across project milestones.
* Lead and directly influence environmental outcomes, community value, and long-term sustainability.
* Indetify and maximise reach back into the wider Jacobs organisation, creating opportunities to maximise client value
Here's what you'll need
We would welcome applications from candidates with a proven leadership track record in the design and project management of large-scale infrastructure programmes, who have a demonstrable mix of the following skills and attributes;
Chartered status
Has extensive experience of delivering Turnkey Design Management solutions to the water/wastewater sector (from feasibility to detailed design, construction, handover and asset management).
Expertise in multidisciplinary engineering and construction integration.
Demonstrable experience of autonomously working across a wide range of complex projects with authority.
High level of Project Management skills(including financial & commercial oversight to support wider project team).
Excellent stakehloder and relationship management skills, able to build credibility, trust and respect at all levels.
