Head Housekeeper/House Manager required for informal family living in Holland Park, London
Required to work Monday to Friday with some flexibility to work the occasional weekends.
Requirements:
• Full operational oversight of the London residence
• Day-to-day management of all household operations, ensuring the home runs seamlessly
• Liaison with contractors, suppliers, and service providers
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
• FOH, dealing with all deliveries
• Oversee laundry, wardrobe care, fine fabrics, and specialist surface care
• Establish and maintain clear standards for staff presentation and professionalism, including uniforms and grooming
• Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Liaise with Private PAs
• Ensure safety, privacy, and smooth household operations
Experience:
• Extensive experience in the private household, minimum 3 years
• Proven track record in senior roles held long-term, demonstrating loyalty, stability, and trust
• Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper, House Manager, or similar senior role
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Professional, discreet, and reliable with excellent communication skills
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE. Excellent written references essential.
