Responsibilities
* Execute store operations through your team on scheduled shifts, covering opening, closing and weekends. You will also manage coverage on your days off.
* Analyze data and leverage observations in store to inform decision making that improves both customer experience and overall store performance.
* Work with store leaders to use forecasting and scheduling tools to manage labour within the required budgets, and recruit world‑class, diverse talent that meets the store’s needs.
* Cascade and roll out new initiatives to enable operational excellence and drive business results.
* Support the growth of your partners through performance and development, coaching and developing your team, and building positive relationships to understand partner challenges, needs and aspirations.
* Set challenging and realistic goals to drive engagement and improve partner performance.
* Participate in an introductory training programme led by in‑store trainers and coaches, designed to immerse you in the Starbucks culture and set you up for success.
Given the nature of our stores, your working hours could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
Qualifications
* Previous experience leading a team in a dynamic retail or hospitality environment.
* Ability to champion Starbucks’ mission and values to create the Starbucks experience for customers and partners.
* Understanding of the local market, including competitors, and ability to identify opportunities to drive store profitability.
* Ambassador for partner networks, ensuring partners feel they belong.
