The Radiology Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn is looking for enthusiastic Radiographers to undertake Cross-Sectional scanning in the CT and MRI departments.
Candidates must be competent in at least one of the two modalities.
Post-qualification, the successful candidate will join a cross-sectional roster covering a 7-day service, providing out-of-hours coverage for CT and cauda equina imaging in MRI.
The role involves providing a professional, high-quality, and responsive cross-sectional service to patients in a safe clinical environment.
* Perform a wide variety of specialised CT and MRI procedures and examinations.
* Achieve competency sign-off in both modalities.
* Undertake cannulation training and obtain sign-off.
* Complete PGD training assessment and sign-off.
* Manage workloads by authorising and prioritising radiological examinations based on clinical need.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high standards of patient care, following policies and procedures set by the radiology management team.
* Be flexible to cover a 7-day service, including out-of-hours CT and MRI coverage for cauda equina syndrome.
