What will this role achieve?
We are looking for a Process Operative working on the main enrober and premium chocolate line. As a Process Operative your main responsibility is to produce products to a specification and operate machinery.
The role requires a proactive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who is committed to maintaining high standards in production whilst working as part of a dynamic team. Will be required to move lines across the factory as and when required.
What will be your key deliverables?
You will need to work effectively with other team members in the department.
12. Check biscuits before and after coating to ensure correct shape, size, and condition.
13. Monitor chocolate or coating coverage
14. Remove defective or damaged biscuits to maintain quality standards.
15. Start, stop, and run the enrober according to production requirements.
16. Adjust settings such as coating thickness, curtain flow, temperature, and belt speed.
17. Understand equipment and machinery set up
18. Ensure changeovers are completed to procedure
19. Ensure any re-work procedures are followed
20. Ensure product is to correct quality and specification, make adjusts to machinery settings to maintain product consistency
21. Ensure all documentation is filled in correctly and to the right standard
22. Always maintain everyday factory standards safely
23. Carry out metal detection checks as per procedure
24. Carry out all CP (critical control) checks as per procedure
25. Shift handovers are completed in area and to agreed agenda
26. Train peers and new operatives in equipment use and procedures when required
27. Undertake basic problem diagnosis and maintenance
28. Identify and report mechanical issues early

Experience on a production line is desirable however all training will be required.
