Working Hours: Double Days shift pattern. Week one : – :, Week : – : (with a green, yellow, red period payback. Red Period – hours Monday to Friday, Yellow Period – hours Monday – Thursday and hours on Friday, Green Period – hours Monday – Thursday with Friday payback – off work.)

What will this role achieve?
We are looking for a Feedend and Ovens Operative who will be responsible for ensuring the quality checks are in line with SQSE procedures and that any quality issues are directly reported to the Team Manager.
Must have a can do attitude and committed to maintaining high standards in a dynamic team. Will move lines across the factory as and when required.
What will be your key deliverables?
You will need to work effectively with other team members in the department.
12. Carry out all pre-start checks
13. Ensure biscuits are made to the correct quality and specification for start of shift and throughout
14. Understand run in times to maximise changeovers
15. Ensure re-work procedure is followed
16. Ensure biscuits are to correct quality and specification, make adjusts to machinery settings and dough water/ice levels to maintain consistency
17. Responsibility for signing data sheets with correct data. Ensure all documentation is filled in correctly and to the right standard.
18. Always maintain everyday factory standards safely
19. Carry out metal detection checks as per procedure
20. Shift handovers are completed in area and to agreed agenda
21. Complete changeovers according to procedure.
22. Train peers and new operatives in equipment use and procedures when required
23. Undertake basic problem diagnosis and maintenance
24. Communicate directly with relevant person to resolve any issues
25. Lead health and safety standards within the area to ensure all work safely.

Essential
26. Have an understanding of good manufacturing practices and safety at work procedures.
27. Must show good communication techniques as you will be required to complete hourly checks and production updates.
28. Can work well with others and be open to learning and change

Desirable
Experience on a production line is desirable however all training will be required.
