We're looking for: An organised, people-focused and commercially minded Bookings & Events Manager to join the Dodo team! Dodo Pub Co is an independent pub group built around brilliant food, great drinks and neighbourhood spaces people genuinely want to spend time in. Across our pubs, workspaces and events, we're all about creating places that bring communities together. From award‑winning burgers and Neapolitan pizzas to busy pub gardens, Christmas parties and workspace memberships, we're passionate about creating experiences people come back for. Based out of Bottle of Sauce and Dodo Works, you'll be responsible for managing large group bookings, private hire, meeting rooms and events across the Dodo estate. This isn't an admin role. You'll be the person making things happen. You'll be responsible for turning enquiries into bookings, delivering memorable events and ensuring Dodo Works remains a welcoming and professional home for our members. You'll love hospitality, enjoy building relationships and get a buzz from creating brilliant experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Group Bookings & Events
- Managing large group bookings across the Dodo estate
- Coordinating private hire enquiries from enquiry through to handover
- Supporting sports events and Christmas bookings
- Managing deposits and pre-orders
- Ensuring site teams have everything they need to deliver brilliant events
- Building relationships that generate repeat business
Dodo Works
- Welcoming and onboarding new members
- Conducting office tours and managing enquiries
- Supporting occupancy and member retention
- Maintaining high standards throughout the space
- Coordinating maintenance and contractor visits
- Building relationships with members and ensuring they receive exceptional service
Meeting Rooms & Corporate Bookings
- Managing meeting room enquiries and bookings
- Maximising utilisation of commercial spaces
- Building relationships with local businesses
- Supporting corporate events and regular customers
Design My Night
- Managing Design My Night across the estate
- Monitoring enquiries and conversion
- Working closely with Marketing to drive bookings
- Ensuring booking journeys and communications are accurate and up to date, busy spaces and full diaries
- Happy members and repeat customers
- Strong occupancy at Dodo Works
- Great private events and group bookings
- Successful Christmas and sports campaigns
- Smooth communication between guests and pub teams
