Offer description

IPRS PFAS are an independent provider of quality medical assessments using a network of specialist health practitioners based in various clinics, mostly around the Southeast of the UK. We pride ourselves on being professional, caring and having a great knowledge in our field valuing teamwork as one of our greatest strengths. We listen to customers, claimants and our colleagues to help our continual learning and development.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Manager. You will manage a small team of recruiters to ensure they provide a positive recruitment delivery to the business.

The Recruitment Manager will lead and coordinate a team of recruiters to deliver a consistent, high-quality recruitment service within the PFAS business. This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for ensuring the effective sourcing, selection, and deployment of skilled personnel while driving process improvement, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

You will proactively lead the PFAS recruitment activity, ensuring the organisation attracts, assesses and appoints high-quality candidates in line with current and future workforce requirements.

The role is accountable for building and maintaining a robust, compliant talent pipeline to enable rapid response to attrition, growth and changing volume demands, whilst ensuring all recruitment activity meets contractual, regulatory and organisational standards.

The post holder will work closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to support workforce planning, succession planning and business continuity, providing clear insight, challenge and solutions across the full recruitment lifecycle.

· Proactively source candidates using a range of attraction methods, including direct sourcing, targeted advertising, social media, networking and agency, ensuring cost-effective and appropriate channels are utilised.

· Maintain ongoing engagement with candidates throughout the recruitment process and beyond, developing long-term candidate relationships rather than short-term vacancy cover.

· Work with the SMT to influence and develop recruitment policies, processes and workforce planning activity, ensuring recruitment capability supports business growth and contractual commitments.

· Ensure that all candidates are fully compliant prior to start, with all checks completed accurately and within agreed timeframes, escalating risks, issues or delays promptly to the appropriate stakeholders.

· Actively manage and mitigate recruitment risk, ensuring all potential compliance, suitability or operational concerns are identified early and addressed.

· Work closely with HR, compliance and operational teams to ensure recruitment decisions align with wider business requirements.

· Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience that reflects organisational values, utilising candidate feedback to drive continuous improvement.

· Attend and lead recruitment meetings with internal and external stakeholders, presenting progress, risks, pipeline data and recommendations.

· Provide regular, accurate recruitment reporting and management information to SMT and SLT, including pipeline health, time to hire, compliance status and trends.

· Champion best practice recruitment standards, providing expert guidance and hands-on support to the recruitment team, including interview support and recruitment skills development.

· Identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, capability and outcomes, including the effective use of recruitment systems and tools.

· Represent the organisation at recruitment events and networking activities to proactively attract talent.

· Support wider people and organisational projects as required.

GENERAL / ADDITIONAL DUTIES

· Comply with the Data Protection Policy, ensuring secure handling of both electronic and paper-based data.
