The purpose of Internal Audit is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve Anglian Water's risk and control environment. The mission of internal audit is to enhance and protect organisational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight. The internal audit function helps Anglian Water accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.You will be part of Anglian Water's Group Internal Audit team, assisting in carrying out internal audits to assess and enhance controls to mitigate key risks across the organisation. This role will provide support to the three Group Internal Auditors by working with them to gather evidence and documentation and deliver in-depth audit testing. The role will add value to the organisation by increasing the depth of audit testing currently undertaken. An internal auditor qualification will be offered within this role, which can take anywhere between 18 months and 3 years to complete, in which you will then be certified.
