About the role
This full time role will involve working 1-2-1 with students to deliver a programme of personal, social and emotional education as well as academic studies and skills. This role is ideal for someone who experience working with children with SEND/SEMH; Previous experience of working with students with SEMH is desirable but not essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements of this post.
About the school
This Academy is situated in Stockton and provides for approximately 50 pupils ranging from Year 1 to Year 6. All pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan due to their social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Supported Learning Tutor you will:
1. Knowledge and experience working with SEND/SEMH children
2. To be approachable, flexible and have excellent people skills.
3. Outstanding organisation skills and keen attention to detail.
4. Ability to plan and deliver engaging core academic sessions, tailored to pupil’s learning level.

Salary
£20 to £30 per hour
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
