Role Overview
A part‑time, temporary Nursery Nurse will join Hatfield Woodhouse Primary Academy in November 2025 and work until 31 August 2026. The position supports early years development within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting and requires a nurturing, professional approach to children’s care and learning.
Responsibilities
 * Plan, deliver and assess a stimulating curriculum that supports children’s emotional, social, physical and intellectual development.
 * Provide high‑quality, EYFS‑standard care that meets professional inspection requirements.
 * Maintain accurate and clear records of child progress, attendance and care activities.
 * Collaborate with teachers, parents and colleagues to ensure a consistent, supportive environment.
 * Adhere to the Trust’s health and safety, safeguarding and behaviour policies.
Qualifications & Experience
 * Qualified as a Nursery Nurse or equivalent early years qualification.
 * Minimum 1‑year experience in a comparable early years setting.
 * Knowledge of EYFS statutory framework and a record of maintaining EYFS registers.
 * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
