Overview
Reporting to the Catering Supervisor you will assist in the provision of a quality catering service within this location and associated locations as required. As a Facilities Assistant within a kitchen you will prepare and serve meals, operate a till and undertake specific cleaning duties. You must have the ability to work under pressure, be a team player and operate within food safety and nutritional guidelines.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve meals in accordance with service requirements.
* Operate a till and handle cash as required.
* Undertake cleaning duties to maintain hygiene standards.

Requirements / Qualifications
* Flexibility regarding start and finish times; term-time post; start date subject to PVG and Occupational Health Checks.
* Ability to work as part of a team and maintain service levels.
* Commitment to reasonable adjustments in recruitment where applicable.

* Regulated Work with Children (PVG). This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children. Preferred candidates will be required to join or update the PVG Scheme prior to confirmation of employment; costs may be deducted from salary.
