Tesco Colleague - Dorchester Superstore, Dorchester, England, United Kingdom. Role: Tesco Colleague. Tesco offers a starting pay from £12.45 per hour (rising to £13.66 for stores within the M25) with potential location-based variations.
Our policy is to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; roles with fewer hours (minimum 12) are also available. Availability windows are provided by the table in the original posting and contracted hours are scheduled with 3 weeks notice. We support flexibility where possible.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering great natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Applying training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
* Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and the part you play in driving service, sales, reducing waste, shrinkage and delivering profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Representing Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* You may occasionally be required to accept deliveries into the store.
