About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking daytime Bus Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment for our passengers and staff. This role involves routine cleaning of the fleet across a set schedule, helping to ensure a positive customer experience and compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct daily cleaning of buses, including sweeping, mopping, litter removal, and sanitising surfaces.
2. Wash the exterior of buses using pressure washers or designated cleaning equipment.
3. Ensure the interior of each vehicle meets company cleanliness standards.
4. Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies on vehicles where required.
5. Complete checklists and reports on completed cleaning tasks.
6. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure coverage and efficiency.
7. Report any maintenance or damage issues found during cleaning duties.
8. Follow all safety protocols and wear the appropriate PPE at all times.
Requirements:
9. Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential – full training provided.
10. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
11. Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
12. Ability to work flexible shifts, including some nights or weekends if required.
13. Physically fit and comfortable working in and around vehicles.
Location: Rochdale
Working Hours: 30 hrs per week - daytime hours (including some evenings/weekends as needed)
Hourly Pay Rate: £12.60
