Summary:
Nottingham Community Housing Association is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our Corporate Offices team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive, high-quality cleaning service across NCHA office sites. You will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors, adhering to strict health and safety standards while upholding the association's core values.
Responsibilities:
* Clean designated office areas according to the agreed work schedule, ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the premises.
* Maintain specialist cleaning equipment in good working order, ensuring it is stored securely. Promptly report any defects to the Senior Caretaker.
* Ensure the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals and dangerous substances in strict compliance with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.
* Ensure the service area is safe and secure if you are the last person to leave the premises.
Essentials:
1.
* A solid understanding of Health and Safety requirements regarding the storage of materials and equipment.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required for completing activity sheets and reading safety instructions.
* Demonstrable experience cleaning professional business premises.
