We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and motivated therapy radiographers who are passionate about delivering safe treatment and providing excellent patient care. We want you to be a valued member of the radiotherapy team, working in a department that welcomes change and innovation to ensure we deliver the best service we can to patients.
The successful post holders will be expected to rotate across all 3 sites through both pre-treatment and treatment areas flexibly between the hours of 8am-8pm and take part in on-call.
Successful candidates will be invited to take part in a two-step selection process: Stage 1 - Competency Assessment. Candidates will complete a competency-based assessment to evaluate their suitability for the role. Stage 2 - Interview. Candidates who are successful at Stage 1 will be invited to attend an interview.
Main duties of the job
* Ensure the smooth running of the assigned departmental area.
* Accurate planning and delivery of radiotherapy and associated care to patients.
* Maintenance of high standards in planning, treatment delivery and patient care
* This is a rotational post throughout the department working across all three sites.
Education / Qualifications
* Degree/Diploma or equivalnet in Therapy Radiography
* HCPC Registration
* CPD/Study days
Knowledge
* Knowledge of a range of planning and treatment techniques
Experience
* Experience of up to date Radiotherapy equipment incuding imaging
* Experience in a large Radiotherapy Department
* NHS Experience
