As Sales & Events Manager, you will lead our Meetings & Events function, ensuring every detail is considered and each event is delivered to the highest standard. This role has responsibility for both thesales and operational successof conferences, weddings, meetings, and private events, and reports directly to the General Manager.
You will oversee the full client journey — from enquiry and conversion through to on-the-day delivery — while leading and developing the Events team to ensure outstanding service and strong commercial performance.
As a key member of the hotel management team, you will build strong relationships with your colleagues, support with team rotas, recruitment, and training, and work closely with Food & Beverage, Marketing, and Revenue to ensure seamless event execution and revenue growth.
This role is predominantly office based but may involve working a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, on a rota basis to support business needs.
Your Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in hotel sales & events management.
* Strong understanding of the operational delivery of weddings, conferences, meetings, and banqueting events.
* A hands-on, intuitive approach with genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
* Confident communicator with strong organisational skills and commercial awareness.
* Motivated, target-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
