As Bupa Global Payments Manager, you will be a senior member of the finance operations team acting as a subject matter expert on all payables and a leader driving engagement across our payables function.
How you’ll help us make health happen
1. Act as support & delegate for the Head of Finance Operations and drive improvements across the function
2. You’ll play a key role in the development and implementation of process improvement including the identification and review of any potential risks
3. By driving improvements for our customers, exploring what they want and seeking to improve using best practice and industry leading digital methods.
4. Own and be responsible for all Bupa Global Payment runs including all control checks, SLA’s and processes involved with these payments
5. By supporting training activities across the function including process change and improvement
Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role
6. Previous experience in a similar role with significant knowledge/understanding of working with international payments and international banking is essential
7. Experienced people manager with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
8. Numerate with the ability to process financial data quickly, interpret the
impacts and consequences, and with strong attention to details
9. Ability to Influence peers and other levels both within the same team and in
other teams based on their technical expertise
10. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills are required with an emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes
11. Experience trouble shooter with the ability to work in ambiguous circumstance
