POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for overall Freight In/Out, Customs Clearance, Inventory Control, and report maintenance. The role will work closely with Warehouse/ Freight forwarders and European customers to provide stakeholders with regular updates regarding orders and stock availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
📦SHIPMENT MANAGEMENT
* Management of customs documentation facilitating smooth shipment clearance and delivery
* Processing and maintenance of international orders for intercompany shipments
* Coordinate logistics solutions for your territories which include UK/EU/Americas
* Obtaining quotes and provide logistic guidance to business for ad-hoc cross-trade shipments
* Maintenance of key reports and dashboards which are communicated to the wider business
📝 INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
* Samples requests, GRPO, and landed cost
* Stock movement monitoring in and out of all warehouses to ensure inventory accuracy
🤝 CUSTOMER SUCCESS
* Customer order entries and custom documents processing Provide excellent customer service for European customers
* Working closely with the sales team, exceed the customer success of all hotel clients in your regions
🎯 STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and motivational spirit with stakeholders
* Working and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines
* Manage upwards, articulating delays/roadblocks with a solution-focused approach
* Proactive approach and willing to lean into challenges whilst keeping key stakeholder up to speed
⭐ ABOUT YOU
* Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualifications
* Minimum 1 year experience in customer service based role
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Cross Border Supply Chain role
* Previous experience managing relationships with freight forwarders and vendors
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Working knowledge of SAP (or other ERP systems)
* Proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken, is preferred but not essential
* Accurate data entry skills
* Able to build strong relationships with clients
* Strong communicator to facilitate business partnering
* Organised and structured in daily duties
* Confident troubleshooter
* Acute attention to detail
* Able to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
* Focused on continuous improvement
