Job Title: Beverage Manager / Sommelier (Wild Drinks Lead)
About Wild
Wild is a 10 seat restaurant in a sunken courtyard at Bull Hotel, Burford. We serve tasting menus four nights a week, with a shorter lunch on Saturdays. Fire sits at the centre, with amazing produce from across the UK shaping each menu. The room runs more like a dinner party than a dining room, with guests close to the grill and part of the flow.
The Role
We are looking for someone to lead drinks including wine, cocktails and non alcoholic pairings. You will pour, prep, shake, stir and batch. It is more than a drinks role. You will support the team in service and you will run service when our Head Waitress is off. You will work closely with Chef Ben Chamberlain, who curates the wine list and produce led cocktails.
As Wild grows, this role will evolve. Once established, you will help shape the next stage of our drinks offering.
Salary
£13 per hour plus service charge, approx. 36 hours per week
4 day working week, Wednesday to Saturday

* Have experience with wine service. WSET 2 or higher helps but is not essential
* Enjoy making cocktails, bases and non alcoholic pairings
* Love wine, cocktails, good food and the service industry
* Have an eye for detail and care about getting things right
* Stay calm in a tight service and enjoy it
* Want to grow into more responsibility

Schedule
* Wednesday: 3pm to 11pm
* Thursday: 4pm to 12am
* Friday: 4pm to 12am
* Saturday: 10am to 3pm and 5pm to 12am split shift
