Temporary with the potential to become permanent.
We are recruiting for an extrusion operator to work for this growing company in Bourne. They are looking for technically minded individuals who want to work hard, learn and progress in a small friendly team. This is a temporary to possibly permanent role for the right person.
Working 12 hour shifts 4 on 3 off Monday to Thursday 6am – 6pm and 6pm – 6am, so you always get a weekend off!
As the extrusion operator you will be:
* Attention to detail is paramount for this role, as you are loading the extruder and keeping an eye on the pressures and tolerances at all times.
* Operating Forklift Counterbalance to load product into the hopper and unload again for the next process.
* Work to instructions and follow works orders.
* Keep the work area tidy.
This role would suit anyone who has worked as machine operator, extrusion operator, operated forklift Counterbalance and is used to or happy to work 12-hour shifts. The company are big believers of multi skilling and progression and promotion from within their own team.
Skills required for Extrusion Operator:
* Attention to details.
* Forklift Counterbalance licence.
* Machine minding / setting / operating.
* Wants to work and progress.
You would require your own transport due to shifts.
