Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - SEN Provision, Irthlingborough We are seeking an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a new SEN provision in Irthlingborough. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within a brand-new setting, supporting both students and staff as we establish a high-quality learning environment. As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to deliver planned lessons, lead small group interventions, and occasionally cover classes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning and supporting students with a range of needs, including autism and SEMH. We are looking for someone who: Holds HLTA status or has equivalent experience Has strong knowledge of SEN and inclusive practices Is confident leading learning activities and managing behaviour Is proactive, organised, and adaptable Your responsibilities will include: Delivering lessons and interventions under teacher guidance Supporting lesson planning and resource preparation Monitoring student progress and providing feedback Supporting behaviour management strategies Acting as a role model for both students and support staff This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and have a greater impact on teaching and learning.
