Family Safeguarding Officer – Fleetwood (Social Worker)
Salary: £36,363 - £46,142 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week
Location: Fleetwood
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our established Family Safeguarding Teams based in Fleetwood. The Teams consist of domestic abuse officers, domestic abuse practitioners, child and family practitioners and mental health practitioners. You will be part of a multi‑agency team delivering intervention to children and their families, using a strengths‑based approach and the Family Safeguarding model of practice.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Child in Need and Child Protection work, take a Motivational Interviewing approach, manage caseloads, provide excellent training, participate in service development, and work collaboratively with adult specialists and other agencies to keep families together and achieve better outcomes for children and their parents.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered with Social Work England as a Social Worker.
* Must have, or be able to obtain, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
* Must provide a vehicle suitable for use in the duties of the post and be insured for business use.
* Experience working in a fast‑paced environment and with multi‑agency teams is desirable.
