Responsibilities
* Full-time, hybrid role based at the University of Glasgow for a Building Services Engineer.
* Oversee building maintenance and manage facility systems to ensure the efficient operation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
* Diagnose technical issues, conduct routine inspections, and implement maintenance strategies to support the university's infrastructure.
* Coordinate with teams and contractors to meet health, safety, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Building Services and Facility Management (FM) principles
* Experience in Building Maintenance, including diagnosing issues and conducting repairs
* Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
* Knowledge of Digital Systems and related engineering principles
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively
* Qualification in engineering, facilities management, or a related field
* Familiarity with industry safety standards and compliance regulations
