/Preferred Qualifications
Part of the SPTS Engineering division, the CVD Group is a multi-disciplined team, designing and maintaining the next generation process modules to meet customer semiconductor fabrication requirements worldwide.
As the successful candidate, you will be an Electrical Design Engineer with an understanding of electrical and/or electronic design. You will be working with other engineers in the group to generate customer focused solutions and you can expect to work in a highly regulated industry to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical / electronic control and interface design
2. Electrical assembly design
3. Design of electrical enclosures using Solid Edge
4. Wiring harness design
5. AC/DC power distribution circuit design
6. Analogue and digital circuit design
7. Fault finding / problem solving
8. Designing critical safety circuits within EN13849 guidelines
9. Technical report writing
10. Producing engineering drawings, build and test guides.
Qualifications and Experience:
11. Minimum Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
12. Experience working in an electrical/electronic design role
13. knowledge of machinery safety regulations and EU harmonized standards such as EN60204, EN13849
14. Understanding of UL/NFPA regulations
15. Design of safety circuits
16. AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent experience

17. Will a have a flexible work ethic
18. Will have good analytical and fault finding skills with the ability to use own initiative
19. Good communication skills and able to mentor junior engineers
20. Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent with relevant experience
