Overview
Contract Scotland is partnering with an established main contractor based in Central Scotland to source a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team.
Responsibilities
* Advising and liaising with operational management on contract and commercial matters
* Advising on all commercial reports; assuring valuations are maximised and paid on time
* Reporting on monthly costs, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing cost forecasts
* Ensuring quotations are evaluated carefully and comply with project specifications
* Successfully managing sub-contractor accounts
* Supporting junior members of the commercial team
Qualifications
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
* Demonstrable commercial experience within a main contracting environment
* Experience managing the commercial aspects of projects £10m+ in value
