Product Owner - Up to 70K
This is a permanent position based in County Antrim, with a salary of up to 70,000. The company is a Belfast startup seeking an experienced Product Owner with Software Engineering Management experience. You will play a key role in developing software and IoT-connected hardware products, providing data insights and meeting customer needs. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical and leadership skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
* Lead product development, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and creating user stories.
* Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.
* Define and monitor key product metrics for performance assessment.
* Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment.
* Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
* Advocate for the business and communicate effectively.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
* Strong technical background with hands-on software engineering experience.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of QA frameworks.
* Experience with scripting languages such as TypeScript and Angular.
* Experience in software engineering management is highly desirable.
