About the Role We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to work part-time in a welcoming nursery setting within the CF23 area of Cardiff, starting in April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to support early years development and play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. You will work as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality care and early years education, helping children develop key skills through play, exploration, and structured activities. What You’ll Be Doing Support the daily care, learning, and development of the children Promote a safe, caring, and stimulating environment Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development Work closely with colleagues and room leaders to follow EYFS guidelines Observe and record children’s progress where required Encourage positive behaviour and independence through play What We’re Looking For Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting (preferred) A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach Good understanding of child development and EYFS A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting early development Strong communication skills with both children and adults Reliability and commitment to maintaining high standards of care Why Join Supply Hive Wales?
